Android initiate playback via poster plays episode 1, not "next episode"

Action: Initiate playback via item poster.
Expected Behavior: Same as “Play Next Episode” button.
Actual Behavior: Plex plays first episode of the series, regardless of watch status / queue etc.

THanks for report. From what screen exactly are you doing this from? I could not reproduce with the 10.17 beta so this is possibly already fixed.

That would be great news. It’s from the top level of the library, TV Show type, “Library” tab. Grid of show posters. Select a poster & press play for (always first) episode.

My box updated to 10.17.0.868 and unfortunately the issue persists.

FWIW, it’s an android tv box, not a phone - I noticed the app has two modes, if that helps reproduce.
Also, this is my 2nd android box (different manufacturers) and both exhibit the glitch.

ah ok You are hitting the play button on remote. I was long pressing select button on poster and choosing play from menu which does work. I can repro with play button on remote. Thanks for the video.
