Android mobile app, Live TV not able to load TV guide for next- or future days

The TV guide starts with current day - ok.
When I select next day (or any of the future days in the dropdown list), the guide appears empty - although lots of guide-data is present on the server, and does indeed appear in other (older) Plex clients (Android TV, Google TV, Browser, Windows App …)

I am having a similar issue, except it won’t load any of the listings. Just says “Unknown Airings” My WebOS TV doesn’t have any issues. My computer doesn’t have any problems. It is just my phone. Latest server and app as stated above. I can click the logos and get that channel to play, but I still see no listings. And it is the same on either DATA or WiFi.

Same problem here. Guide works fine through web interface to Plex but Android app only sees the current day.

Android after last update TV guide will not go further than 3hrs. Yes I have plex pass. Anybody from plex actually read these forums and help? Useless forum if they don’t.

Just downloaded the old apk and installed it. Everything good until they fix this. Got my music back too.

Well - the latest Android Mobile version (2025.18.0) made some good to the Live TV guide. It is now fairly fast (almost as fast as on pre-new-experience clients).
So far so good.
But, I am still not able to browse past the current-day-guide:

  • If I select next day (or a future date) in drop down, I get an empty guide
  • If I slowly browse up to midnight on current-day, and slowly pass the midnight point, I see the guide listings disappear :slight_smile:

Will this ever be fixed … ?

Having the same problem here. I was trying to set my DVR for ‘Jaws’ tonight, and the guide ended at 6:30pm, so I couldn’t do it. Does Plex actually test their software before they release it? Oh no, I forgot, only real software companies do that. Nevermind.

Now running version 2025.21.0 (Android Mobile). Still having the exactly same error:

  • Live TV schedule loads perfectly for current day
  • Live TV schedule is empty for all future dates
  • Live TV schedule loads perfectly on all other clients (Windows, Web, Google TV, Nvidia Shield PRO …)

What to do … ?

Wait for it to be fixed, it has been acknowledged.

Now running version 2025.22.0 (Android Mobile).
Noticed the following Fix text in release notes:
" * Airing cells could end up blank or in the wrong position when scrolling through the Live TV guide."
But, sadly, this has not fixed my Live TV guide problem. I still see no guide entries for future dates :frowning:

Now running version 2025.27.0 (Android Mobile) - and the issue seems to be fixed!

OBS: I occasionally see the dreadfull “Oops …” error page. My suspicion goes to some illegal character in current day guide listing in my selv-generated Live TV xml guide file (the error page appears as soon as I click the “Live TV” button, which should display the guide for current day). The strange thing is though, that I don’t see this error in all the other (older) clients (Web browser, Google TV, Nvidia Shield, etc.). If this error bothers me too much, I will report it as a separate issue.
