I tried all ways, nothing works at all, I’ve just found someone else with the same issues as I’ve got that cannot play files with AC3 Audio etc on Local LAN/Remote WiFi it sounds like it…

Not related. Media != Network communication.
Put your LAN as “Secure Connections” = “Preferred” and leave it there please.
Restart plex.
Security wise,
- everything remote will always be secure - no change there
- On LAN, it will try secure but fall back to unsecure if not able to establish.
- Your LAN is already secure because:
a. WiFi is encrypted
b. Wires are physically secure.
What bothers me is why only you with this BT Hub thinggy.
I’ve not messed with that since yesterday after I found the issue, I soon put it back to Preferred!!
But what about it playing films without an issue? and the TV Shows if it’s AC3 or MP3 it just falls, else it just plays all the other TV shows without an issue?
I think I’ve hit a awkward one. I had the same till the weekend after upgrading the server twice with the BT Hub 6 then I replaced after BT sent me the new Hub 2 thinking this would cure the issue, but sadly Android devices on both remote and Local on WiFi only have issues, but on 4G/Cell Data no issues… weird???
Correction MP3 on some work… TV Shows that is… definitely doesn’t do AC3 when it used to!! Plot gets weirder by the second…

We must be 100% certain about the delineation between MEDIA ( codecs, encoding formats, file container types ) and how it gets there.
Add to this. It only happens on Android?
Does this work OK on Plex/web , local or remote ?
I am about to conclude – APP problem and NOT server.
It works great on everthing everywhere except Android Player!! Even Web local and remote…
I was right in my first rant that it may be a app issue??? I wanted to make sure, thanks Chuck for your help this afternoon… Can we get the Dev’s on it??

You too… I’ve got a 4 and a half year old son who thinks he can get away with murder to… thankfully my ex-wife has him weekdays and I have him on a weekend… but we all share the Plex Server… Families and ex’s are strange but gotta get on for the kids!!
