Android Tablet Live TV & DVR just will not work...unless

I have remote access set up using https with a Let’sEncrypt certificate via a reverse proxy for the last couple of years. Almost everything works including Live TV - Chromecast with GTV at remote locations, iOS player on mobile data, Galaxy S23 on mobile data, web browser on any device. However, on any Android tablet via its Plex app (I only have 3 to play with though) Live TV & DVR just doesn’t work.

If I revert to using the regular 32400 port, the Android tablets start to work for Live TV & DVR.

Should I bother with the reverse proxy or not? Any suggestions for the Android Tablet app if I retain the proxy?
