Since version 9.16 on my Nidia Shield, Live TV playback and recordings have stopped working right. Everything was working fine up to version 9.15 released over a year ago.
Live TV recordings would refuse to play if resuming from a point. The videos sometimes play if I begin playback from the beginning. The recordings are mpegts container, AAC audio with h264 video.
Live TV playing was also working fine before version 9.16. Now it takes at least 10 seconds to play and is not very reliable.
I was hoping this would have been fixed by now but it has been over a year. I had to switch to the Apple TV to get reliable playback but now that player has issues that are not getting fixed.
