I have been having a problem for a few months now on my Nvidia Shields and some of my remote users have also who are using mainly Fire TVs.
Issue 1: If I go to my TV library it intermittently says I have “no content”. This can be solved eventually by going to the Homepage, and then back to the TV library
Issue 2: On my homepage it won’t show the “Continue Watching”. This can be solved eventually by going to another library, and then back to the Homepage.
Clearing the app cache helps momentarily, but not always.
Any idea what’s wrong? I have a large library but I have for a long time. I have tried the DB repair tool but this didn’t fix the problem.
Anybody else experiencing anything similar??
I am having this exact issue on my Shield for months now. Roku and Fire TV seem to not be affected.
I am having the same issue with my Firestick.
It’s good to know that this isn’t unique to me. Hopefully someone from Plex will spot this thread, or someone else who has solved the issue.
The issue is still there, if not worse. Now, moving to a library and back to Home does not bring Continue Watching back. Sometimes, clearing cache will fix it for a day or so, but that didn’t work at all today. Very frustrating.
Same here - all Android TV and Fire TV clients. Users keep telling me “it’s not working” and I have to tell them to click on a few libraries they don’t want and then try to resolve, which isn’t great.
I’ve been using Plex for over 12 years now and I still don’t know how to get this onto the radar of the Plex team as I’m sure that it’s affecting a lot of users.
@ChuckPa are you able to help please?
