Android TV: Please show timeline when skipping forward

The new player still does not show any popup timeline when skipping forward 30s. It does popup a “30” skip icon which is not very useful. I currently have no idea where I am in the video when skipping around so please add a timeline or some other indication.

When using the player, if you bring up the UI by pressing down on the remote, you can then navigate up to the timeline, and seek and get exactly what you want :slight_smile:

Thanks for the reply. This is true, but there is a short timeout which requires you to do it all over again if you pause too long. It would be great if there was an option to show/popup this OSD by default when skipping. If this is not possible, it would be good if one UP press on the remote would navigate right to the timeline when the OSD is not showing (currently requires 2 UP presses).
