For the last couple of months on my nvidia shield TV I’ve found using the playback UI for skipping forwards/backwards difficult to use.
I press “select” on the remote and the user interface overlays on the playing video. If I want to skip forward a few minutes I’d usually press the forward icon several times skipping forward 30 seconds at a time.
I now find that after two or 3 presses the overlay fades away so I can’t see the progress. I understand it should disappear after a few seconds of not using it, but it’s disappearing while I’m pressing skip forward.
Shouldn’t the time reset each time a UI button is pressed in this scenario. Note I’m not using the removes skip buttons directly, just select/left/right to highlight the button on the remote.
