All the sudden my Android TV Plex player is showing green artifacts on the top and bottom of the screen when playing x265 video content. This has been working fine before and so I am guessing that there has been some kind of upgrade that broke something. I can play the same content on Windows just fine.
Any suggestions or ideas on how I can fix that? Thank you!
I did some more testing and found that I can play the same content on Kodi (Matrix) running on the Android TV itself just fine. In addition, it works fine with the app coming with the TV.
However, it has the same issues when using Emby.
My TV is a Sony XBR-65X850C running on Android Oreo. Plex Server is latest version running on Synology DS-1813+ and the TV is also running the latest available Plex Player for Android version.
Does this work fine for other people using similar hardware? Anybody else having the same problem?
