Nvidia Shield K1 Tablet
Plex v5.1.1.199 (995cff70)
I can no longer find an option to play synced content on this version of the Plex App.
I have several movies successfully synced to the tablet (confirmed in sync status). I am no longer able to view these movies when the tablet is offline. When the tablet is offline my media server becomes unavailable and the app defaults to the local tablet. While the description says “Local and synced content” the display I get under “Home” is “No servers found”. No movies are listed.
I’m seeing the same issue. Asus Zenfone 3, version 5.1.1.199 of the app. So far as I can tell it’s never worked on this phone with this app, though I’ve only had the phone for 2 weeks. Previous Android tablet (don’t have it anymore) did not have this problem, but can’t tell you what version that was that worked.
I ended up completely wiping Plex from the tablet and reinstall it. It appears to have fixed the issue for me.
Thanks, SeeJayEmm, I’ll give that a go. For interest’s sake, I’ve found that if I start playing a video while connected to wifi, it works fine, and continues to work after i disconnect. It will even move on to the next video and play it cleanly if there’s a wueue. Any wifi network will do, so the presence of a connection seems to be at issue.
No joy
I fully wiped and re-deployed both on server-side and client-side, no change in behavior. There was also an updated version of the Android App since my last comment, still no change. I’ve posted separately as it does appear to be a different issue than described. Thanks for you help, SeeJayEmm, much appreciated.
