AndroidTV Plex app LiveTV issues - logs attached

Hey guys/gals, so I’m having issues with the Plex app on a new TiVO Streak 4k and FireTV device, both are based on AndroidTV and both are running the same version of the Plex app. The streams are coming from IPTV proxied by xTeve into Plex. I’ve already ruled out issues there, since my Roku, Mac and Windows 10 PC can stream those channels without any issues from Plex.

The logs are from the TiVO Stream 4k only. If you need them from the FireTV as well, let me know.

The fix, rather annoying, is to click on the channel, then go into the playback settings and change the quality from Play Original Quality to Convert Automatically OR if Convert Automatically is already on, it’ll show Now: 1080p, 40Mbps, so i switch it to Play Original Quality, which still doesn’t work and then back to Convert Automatically and bam, it starts working perfect but it’ll show Now: 1080p, 22Mbps.

Any ideas on what’s going on? I’ve tried disabling the new player but the issue is still there.

Found the issue and have a permanent fix.

I noticed the TV channels with issues were using HE-AAC and the channels that were working were using AAC. Since I’m using xTeve as the back end, I was able to use ffmpeg and force a transcode to AAC for audio and now all my channels are working.
