Can't stream most of my channels

I’m not sure this is the right place to post my problem - also related to ATV and DVR not working properly.
The issue I’m having is not being able to stream most of my channels - just times out. I’m able to record okay, but not watch live DVR stream, I’ve tried the usual uninstall, shut the apps, etc.
I’ve tried turning on/off HW acceleration on my Plex Server…
My guide seems to be okay though, I just can’t watch anything.
I’m also running HD HomeRun hardware. Works fine on every other platform I’ve tried (mobiles (android and apple), remotely is okay on mobile too. Tablets work fine, TV’s with built in Plex apps are okay.
Just not the ATV! I have a HD one and 4K one, both doing the same thing…
I have a capture (of sorts) from my Ubuntu server running Plex from HTOP when it’s searching for the streams…
Driving me nuts…

Bit of an update - when I try and play a channel that worked from my recent channel list via the Guide - it fails to start… what a pest!

Please post the PMS version you have installed; and the Plex app version you have installed on your Apple TVs.

Thank you.
Plex App Version on 4K ATV:
2.16(1).
Current version of Plex is:
plexmediaserver_1.19.1.2645-ccb6eb67e_amd64.deb

This has been an ongoing issue for some time. I thought It must be just me as no-one else seems to be reporting it…
It’s probably not much help, I tried to capture what my processes were doing when it fails on the Ubuntu box plex is served on.
HTOP Capture|690x259

I’ve been having the same problem for the past few weeks… at least 3 weeks.

I had to revert to the old player in Advanced Settings of the player app to get live TV to work.

Tonight, though, I found another post on this forum that is giving me hope. What it had me do is on the server, go to Settings > Network > Secure Connections and change it from Preferred to Disabled. I then had to go to my player app and change the advanced setting for Allow Insecure Connections from never to on same network.

So far, it is working and that’s good progress since it hasn’t worked for quite a while now!

Good luck.

Okay, I tried a bunch of different things.
Disabled Secure Connections (per above) - no luck.
Enabled LAN for Un-Authorised connections - no luck
Toggled HW Acceleration (encoding and decoding) - no luck

@darcilicious Just to clarify my ATV (both) are running software version 2.16 (14822).

So I thought I’d try and disable the Auto Adjust quality in ATV settings - and it’s working!
Direct play of MPEG-2 streams work!
I’ve yet to try playback of the DVR streams in the Plex App - I usually use NFUSE as it’s able to show thumbnails in real time for DVR playback (skipping commercials). My past experience in Plex App hasn’t been a good experience.when playing / navigating MPEG2 streams.

I’ll let you know how I get on. A step forward!

@cpalenshus I hope this provides some assistance in solving your woes?

The fix I posted above is still working for me.
@CrouchingWorm My ATV already had Video Quality > Adjust automatically set to off.

Well I can say that my environment seems to be stable.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond.
It’s very much appreciated.
