Another Plex Playback issue on Shield Pro

Server Version#:1.31.1.6782-77dfff442
Player Version#:9.17.0.38861

Having yet another very annoying issue with Plex on my nVidia Shield Pro that’s just popped up. Media is stored on a Synology NAS, Server is on a Windows PC, all wired with CAT6 with gigabit connections. Player is a Shield Pro also wired through a gigabit switch. Only watching 4K remuxes. Movie starts to play and plays fine for 10-30 minutes and then begins to stutter. Once stuttering stops the audio is out of sync by 5-10 seconds. Everything is being direct played. I can play the same videos through Plex on my ATV4Ks without issue (but no lossless audio). Have been using this exact setup without this issue happening for sometime. Not sure if an Android update or Plex update broke something. But getting really fed up with paying for Plex and constantly running in to these issues when trying to watch a movie with the family.

The other issue I’m experiencing only on the Shield is I reboot the device to attempt to fix the update and when I relaunch Plex it shows all of my libraries as unavailable. I have to logout of Plex and back in (link device) and the libraries appear. I resume the same movie and it plays for a bit and then stutters and the audio is out of sync. I’ve tried rebooting the Shield, clearing app cache and I’ve experienced this with multiple files. All are 4K HDR remuxes with lossless audio, all direct play.

Any suggestions or is it time to move on from Plex?
