Another unable to connect to my Plex server (QNAP) post, sorry

Dane22, before I do a fully system wipe given what i have confirmed to be a ransomware attack directed to the PMS, would it be worthwhile to simply delete the PMS and reinstall it, if I still have access to my movies directly?

If other QNAP app’s also fails, like your firewall, then there’s no idea about what also might have been impacted!

Grab what you can, and then nuke the box

All the QNAP apps - Firewall, Malware remover, etc. - are working fine. If nuke is still your answer, I am going to shut it down until I can back up my movies.
