Any Plex updates on Shield?

I’ve not received a Plex (PMS or PMP) update on my two Nvidia Shields (latest gen) in a few months where I used to receive multiple updates every month.

Is something wonky or is this what everyone else is seeing?

get the old version 7.31.0.16802 and everything will work fine, they deleted the old player version…

The server on shield is currently at 1.23.4707 which is the current public version of server released about two weeks ago.

the Android TV player app is 8.19.4 which was released two days ago.

If you do not have auto updates enabled in the Google play store on the device then you would need to update manually from store on device or via webpage

for server https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb

thanks for the info.

Interestingly, I have auto update turned off but whenever I check manually, I get nothing. I do get other Shield related updates but nothing from Plex.

odd. You can update4 manually from web page by click on the green installed button and and selecting your shield which will push the updates to it.

That worked. Very odd I couldn’t update from the Shield itself.
