Any way to schedule the EPG update?

It keeps wanting to update about 11pm and it sucks on the CPU pretty good and causes hiccups in other things. I would prefer it happen sometime like 3am

Settings / Server / Scheduled Tasks

Then I guess there is a bug. Because this is now 2 or 3 times I’ve seen my plex instance refershing the guide data at like 11pm. My server has the defaults in place of starts tasks at 2am and stop them at 5am.

Did you just reboot the machine or stop/start the Plex Media Server on the machine or possibly update Plex Media Server? If so Plex will refresh the EPG if it has been more than I believe 3 hours since the previous EPG refresh.

Nope. Had been running for days. Just decided to refresh the guide between 10-11 pm. Didn’t know it was happening until Kodi started buffering and stuttering. shrug

Would need logs, with debug logging turned on, the next time it happens. Please ensure debug logging is turned on, verbose logging is turned off, and the allow Plex Media Server tokens in logs is turned off.

Right. I’ll keep an eye out.
