Has anyone had the issue where the epg is not updating nightly? I have checked my scheduled tasks settings and it should refresh between 5am and 8am every day. It is not a huge deal, but it would be nice not having to manually refresh it every few days.
Yep mine did not refresh and I missed a bunch of shows. Super annoying.

Something has happened … :-(. Mine has worked for a long time, no issues at all. I haven’t updated the server real recently (so that’s not it) … but EPG refresh keeps failing - or at least not working correctly. Just checked (manual refresh), shows,
Refreshing EPG (94%)—Downloaded 145625 airings
Let it finish, and … EPG is still completely empty. How can that be? Will reboot the server, try again.

If someone can grab their logs from overnight when this is supposed to be happening, that would be awesome.

FYI, this is happening again … :-(. Refresh the EPG, but it’s not really refreshing.
I’m on the latest server version 1.7.2.
Came to the forum to check on this. Never been an issue until the latest update: 1.7.2.3878 on ubuntu. Now guide data is not auto downloading. Works fine on manual download.
Other then this the DVR has been pretty flawless of late.
EPG is completely broken here, tried to delete DVR and re-add since I was seeing xml parse errors in the logs, now I cannot re-add my DVR, getting the message “Unable to load channel mappings” and I cannot save my DVR.

83rd time must be the charm, was able to add DVR and EPG is currently refreshing, will wait and see if it gets to 100%
Same issue here. Running Plex on a QNAP.
I am not sure if it matters at this point, but I am also having this problem. Version 1.5.5.3634 on my FreeNAS. Refreshing manually works just fine.
FYI, for me - even manual refresh fails.

You should create your own question on the forum. However, have you tried to reboot your HDHR Prime, and make sure its firmware is up to date?

By any chance, has anyone with the issue added or removed any channels before the issue started?
I ask because I am having the same issue and noticed that the 2 channels that added are the only ones that remained on the EPG. May be a coincidence, but thought I would ask.
I’ve had similar issues. W10, was running fine until about 2 months ago when I began to see the guide not updating. With the most recent update, 1.7.2.3878, I can say i’ve had issues with one show for sure. The guide says its updated, will update to 100% if done manually, but still won’t like some shows that have been scheduled in the upcoming recordings.
example was Better Call Saul. was new this past Monday but didn’t show as a recording in the schedule, and also doesn’t show for the next upcoming Monday. Ive deleted the scheduled recording, updated the guide and tried to re-add it but it still doesn’t show up for next Monday.
