Installed plex today. First time guide took about 20 min to download. Then I had to rerun setup to put server on nas. Now it’s been taking hours to download and its only at 36%.
Any idea what could be wrong?

that would be a function of your internet speed, how many channels you have etc/ For example I have 350Mb download speed, 33 Channels and it takes 9mins to download around 14,000 epg entries. Not too bad, and once you have it downloaded it automatically updates at night so I cant say other than the initial setup or maybe after a server upgrade I have ever had to wait on it.
It took about 6 hours to download. The issue is plex is very very slow …when you bring up the guide the icons have to slowly load each time. It also fails to play tv at times so I reinstalled. After reinstall, It plays tv again, but is still too slow to be usable. I am going back to kodi/hdhomerun for now and I will try again in a few month and see if things improve. Thanks.
