Gracenote seems to have totally wrong info for my local news programming. All three networks seem to have issues with how the news programs and times they play at are listed. Sometimes it gets it right and sometimes it gets it way wrong. For example one of the stations has a 5PM news every day, and the listing for today is right, but all the rest of the listings are showing 1AM. Almost like gracenote is flagging reruns as new episodes.
Is there any recourse here? I’ve seen people trashing Rovi guide data on other posts here but we use it at the company I work for and aside from human error like people entering the channel or time zone wrong, it’s always dead on. I would hope it would be because it’s from TiVo(or TiVo is Rovi or whatever). Any chance of this? I would pay a monthly fee at this point to add on Rovi data instead of using Gracenote. Our company licenses Rovi data so I would imagine this is possible for Plex to do as well.
