New TV Station

So my HD home run shows that there’s a new TV station in the area but the guide doesn’t know about the station so I can’t assign it. How do we resolve this? It’s channel 6.5 in my area. The station name is twist. Local zip code 04240

None of the DVR’s I use have data for this channel yet. Channels, Tablo or Plex. I imagine it will take time. Interestingly Plex is the only one that won’t let me add the channel. The other two just show it with no data. Then you can tune in and watch the channel anyway.

Hi,

You can report it here, but it might take a while as @CWallace implied.

TiVo (the old Plex Provider) already has it in their guide.

good info,. It is possible that Gracenote has it as well, but Plex hasn’t asked for it. In which case, you might get it sooner rather than later,

I don’t think Gracenote has it. This site is where you can get a Gracenote guide. It’s not on there in my zip and this guide matches Plex 100%.

Anyone have any luck yet?

Did you report it at the link I posted?

Nothing fast about getting this corrected. I reported the same day that I was shared the link so what 10 days.

@sa2000 can you confirm that has been reported to Gracenote?

I reported it too. To the link you posted. I have done similar reports before. No response yet for this one.

@sa2000 is this one in progress? There’s 166 stations that carry this:

It looks like it is now showing in the Dallas market. Still not showing here in the Niagara Falls, NY market and no response from Plex for my missing channel form. Hopefully it just randomly appears soon like the Dallas market.

It’s showing now :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for the update - I can see that 2.5 Twist is now available for your zip code

We have one other report of it missing for the Niagara Falls area
I will try and find out how soon after launch channels get picked up and included in the Gracenote EPG data
