Anyone have custom XMLTV guide data working on a QNAP Plex Server?

I just bought a new QNAP TS-251+, and it’s working great as a Plex server – with one major exception: I can’t figure out how to get it to recognize an xmltv file from epg123.

I used epg123 to combine my local TV channels with TVHomeRun Premium channels using listings from Schedules Direct. This works fine on my PC Plex Server (which I’d like to relieve of Plex duties in favor of the QNAP), but I can’t figure out where to put the files on the QNAP (or how to format & mount them in a way that is compatible with the NAS).

I haven’t been able to find any info on this, so if anyone has had success with this, any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Create a share, and name it like xmltv

Put your file in there

Then, when setting up your DVR, specify /share/xmltv/<Name_Of_File>

You can find a wiki here for a small plugin I wrote, but note the wiki is in danish, so you might have to use Google Translate :wink:
