Cant upload tv series from NAS

I am running a QNAP NAS and have installed Plex media server on it.
I have had no problems at all until now loading TV series, movies etc from my NAS to Plex.
I tried to upload a new TV series - The Real Hunt for Red October - but no matter what I do, it does not upload to Plex. I use the same procedure to load other TV series and this series just does not load.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be?

nothing gets uploaded to Plex. On your Plex Media Server when you create a library you tell it what folder all your TV shows are in. Like a folder called “Television” or whatever. Then to add a new show you add a folder for that individual show in the television folder in the naming organization outlined here and Scan library files which will make the server look for anything changed in the “Television” folder

90% of the time it does not pick things up due to naming issues. Tv episode files must be named with the S01E03 representing season and episode

      /The Real Hunt for Red October {tvdb-405984}
          /Season 01
                 /The Real Hunt for Red October S01E01.mkv
                 /The Real Hunt for Red October S01E02.mkv

the other times it is often either file permissions or something like a single episode tv show is actually a movie

The episodes were labelled Part 1 and Part 2 so when I changed them to S01E01 and S01E02 and no problems.
I will note that for future reference.
