Anyone have the Dune HD Homatics Box R 4K Plus Android TV Box? Wondering how Plex runs on it. Looking for proper 4K DV, HDR, Audio codecs support. Have a NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro (2019) I’m considering retiring. Pretty tempting specs wise, after the recent updates according to a Amazon Review.
I’d like to know this too, always interested in new gadgets.

I upgraded, but the difference I have not noticed. FYI, It didn’t boot directly after the firmware update, only after i updated then I did a factory reset did it work and bootup. Since then it has been wonderful and my favorite all time streaming device.
How does Plex run on it? The Apple TV still runs the best in my opinion, refreshes automatically. My SHIELD TV Pro (2019) takes a while sometimes to refresh.
Well, the Apple TV has already lost because it doesn’t support DTS:X and True HD Atmos. It can’t even pass through. You need Infuse to get transcoded PCM Sound, so you get no direct play and Hight Speaker not work.
I am genuinely confused by how many people say the Apple TV is best, while we have an Apple TV beta thread full of unhappy people at the same time.
I def misspoke there, sorry guys. I was mainly talking about responsiveness with the Apple TV, not codec support. Obviously the Apple TV lags way behind there. That’s why I’m asking about how Plex runs with this update on the Dune Box.
