Have all five seasons of the original from 1993. Adding the new one and labeled it Animaniacs (2020) and it thinks it is season 1 from 1993 (duplicates entries). When I tried as Season 6 of the original it doesn’t add metadata.

Did you leave it under Animaniacs (2020)/Season 6/S06E01
Or without the (2020) in the folder name?
TV Shows/Animaniacs (2020)/s01e01.ext
May have to manually search for the meta to pull the correct year.
These should be Animaniacs (1993) / Season 6.
I made some test files. I get art and metadata for it!
So the files are 3 episodes in each file. How should I name my files, even if I do opt for the season 6 format?

or
S06E01-E03

Tried your suggestion and Plex now just lists 2 episodes, that point to the same file.

I just looked how I have the files in season 1 named. Looks like it like S06E01-E03 better.
Where did you find the files that have the3 to 4 episodes to a file? All i can find are ones that are 1 file each but some are labeled wrong.
I ended up just naming each file with the episode it begins with. Sure I don’t get all the metadata in plex for each episode, but looks like the TVDB is the main culprit on this one.
