I was wondering how hard it would be to compile all of this with the latest from XBMC. There are several xbmc bugs that are fixed in trunk that are broken in dharma that I would like to play with. For example: fixed DXVA bugs on Sandy Bridge and new HDMI-CEC features.
The Plex devs tend to wait until the release version of the latest XBMC is out. Laika is basically Dharma. I’d guess that a similar amount of time will pass after Eden is released until the next client version of Plex is out (excluding 0.0.1 releases of course).
This. If you're interested in Eden features, though, you can just fork the git repo and merge in changes from XBMC. It's really not that hard to get building from go...just required a modicum of skill and a fair amount of patience.
Hope Plex gets interested in adopting Eden sooner then later. Been using this on my living room HTPC lately since the Plex Client UI for desktops is lacking some flair and ease of use. I know, it was not the case in the past, but things been changing. Still use Plex for content distribution though.

I am sure elan & co are just waiting for Eden stable…
Can I ask which XBMC skin this is? And have you built this on top of XBMCLinux? Also, are you using PleXBMC add-on for accessing the Plex Media Server?
Looks amazing!
The skin is NOT developed by me. The name is on the screen and you kind find it in XBMC forums.
Anyone had the patience build Plex on top of Eden Beta that would care for a tester?
PS: I wish it was.
I'd like to know this too.
