I finally managed to add my music library to plex but I am faced with a slight difficulty. I have around 100 albums including the correct metadata and the album covers just with additional bars to the sides (gray bars or sides extending the square cover sideways)
Is there a way to automatically crop all album artworks to a square instead of random aspect ratios ?
Is there an existing third party tool or a script that can do this?
Or do I have to do it manually (Album covers are hard to find online and could take me forever to do so)?
Plex AMP App automatically crops the covers to square but on TV still shows the “original” aspect ratio of the artwork. Is there a plan to unify the way it is displayed across platforms?
