Anyone? Please?

Your account list two servers, and the active one has a name starting with Richie's M...

Is that the one?

Richie’s Music & Movies is currently inactive…

Richie’s Music & Movies (Cloud) is active

Thanks for Replying Dane!

So that’s the one?

The other is not listed on your account, but instead an old one named vmi139558 that has not been seen for almost 3 years

Richie’s Music & Movies (Cloud) is it!!

Please restart your PMS

Restart done

And a new certificate should have been generated

Seems to be working!
YOU ROCK!!
Thanks!

I seem to have a similar issue, at least from what I can tell.

CERT: incomplete TLS handshake from 127.0.0.1:42562: sslv3 alert certificate expired
CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR: 429, <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Can anyone help me out ?

@lukemz

Your certificate was stuck. I reset it

  1. Stop Plex
  2. Wait about 5 minutes and start the server
  3. It should clear the 429 and give you a new certificate.

Chuck you’re a hero. Good to see you’re still with Plex. Thanks for the help on yet another issue.

I may be having a similar issue. I’m struggling to get remote access working and when I looked at my server logs I noticed this error:

CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR: 429, <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Here are my logs in case there’s something else going on.

I can’t access the PMS outside my local network, which is running on a Synology NAS. I recently replaced my modem and upgraded my router, and from what I can tell Synology IP is static and port forwarding is setup correctly.

I would really appreciate some help.

Thank you,

Brian

@stecks77

I have resolved your certificate issue.

Restart the server.

@ChuckPa Success! THANK YOU

Hi Chuck,

For some reason I’m unable to access my PMS outside the local network again. I don’t have access to my logs since I’m truly remote this time, but I don’t believe any of my settings have changed. My router has assigned a static IP to the NAS, port forwarding is setup, and UNnP is enabled. Could you please reset my certificate to see of that’s the issue?

Brian

hello Chuck. can you see if my cert is stuck?

I had secured connections yesterday but now everything is insecure. I recently switched to a new server.

@RMACXX17

Your “M1” server was rate limited.

  1. I removed the rate limit
  2. I reset the certificate.

You have used 19 certificates in the last 30 days. You should need 1 each 90 days.
Please get into your Cache directory and verify all files are owned by, and read/write for, the plex user.

Thanks sir, I appreciate you. I’m back online!
