I’m unable to connect to my server remotely anymore.
The logs indicate that the server is unable to retrieve a new ssl cert and is being rate limited. Do I need to have something altered by the Plex team as other similar threads seem to indicate or is this something I can resolve myself please? I’ve taken the server offline for now to prevent it continually calling the API.
In your case, it was a normal certificate refresh which , while negotiating a new certificate with Let’s Encrypt, didn’t complete. (usually their side)
When this happens, please just call out to me and I’ll fix it.
It looks like this is happening on my server as well. Any chance you could reset? Seems that the cert expired two days ago and now can’t renew, with the same “API rate limit exceeded” message in the logs.
@ChuckPa I have the same problem “CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR” and “API rate limit exceeded”. Can you please check my server certificate also.
