App automatically stops live TV and goes back to EPG

Hi,

We’re using Plex Media server on a QNAP NAS, with an Apple TV 4K Gen 2, along with an HDHomeRun tuner.

We’ve noticed a frustrating behaviour that the app will stop playing live TV, and take us back to the program guide. Happens several times a day.

I’ve noticed this happens when the current scheduled show ends. The epg pops up but the show keeps playing in the background. Sometimes going back in is quick and i don’t miss much, sometimes the app hangs and i miss minutes of the end of a game.

This is really annoying in football games that often bleed over the schedule time.

same for me - Constantly. Doesn’t matter if it’s the beginning / middle / or end of a scheduled program,. Just stops. random. I have stopped using PLEX to watch Live TV - way way too unreliable. Using the native HD homerun APP now
