App freezes in Apple TV after auto-sleep

There is an annoying bug in the app for Apple TV.

  • Start a tv show and let it run until the auto play stops
  • now wait until the A-TV turns itself into sleep/stand-by mode
    Now if you open the Plex app it shows you the last played tv show (background with the “replay” circle-arrow).
    From here you can’t leave the screen by pressing the “back” button on the remote. The only way to go to the other tv shows of the library or to change to another library or settings, etc. is to double press the tv button, kill the Plex app and open it again.

Unfortunately I can’t provide any logs because of an error message while trying to access them via browser.
