Recently purchased an Odin 2 from Ayntec and have been really enjoying this andriod based handheld. Use plex as my primary video source and came across an interesting bug. Regardless of my auto-rotate settings in andriod the Plex app rotates to a portrait orientation despite every other app being in landscape (desired). Once installed and first opened it immediately flips the screen to the incorrect orientation (portrait). Doesnt seem to be any setting within the Plex app itself to try and resolve this issue. Again, this is the entire app including the home screen, not just playback.
Bump. I’m sure there are third party apps that can resolve this issue, but it seems like something that shouldn’t be happening in the first place. When I launch the app, it opens in landscape (correct) and immediately goes into portrait. Not having issues with any other app. Doesnt matter if I have “auto rotate screen” in the android settings turned on or off, result is the same.
Bump. Is there no setting, no issue that can be solved? I find it hard to believe its an android issue when no other android app is behaving in this manner.
One more bump. A guy can dream there is a solution.
Issue is the same on the AYN Thor handheld as well
