I have a plex server running on my WD My Cloud Home. Up until last week it was working fine and could be connected to remotely via https://app.plex.tv/. This week remote access no longer works. I only get the “app.plex.tv is unable to connect to [server] securely” message. I tried removing the server and re-adding it. Today I completely started from scratch by disabling and re-enabling the service on my WD device, but with the same results. I am able to connect to it locally with no issues. In network settings, Secure Connections are set to “Preferred”. Remote access is enabled and I have the public port forwarding to the private port on my router, which is a Nest WIFI with DNS set to google’s servers. Any help with fixing this would be greatly appreciated!
