Plex Ops is still investigating.
As a workaround, changing to public DNS providers such as Google, 8.8.8.8, Cloudflare, 1.1.1.1, OpenDNS (setup guide), etc. has helped some people.
Using a public DNS (8.8.8.8) has indeed resolved this issue for me.
I am having this same issue still. The odd thing for me is, I can access plex just fine from my mobile device offnet, but none of my local devices can connect, my ps4s wont connect, cant access it from the web app on my other pcs, i have made sure that all windows updates are good on the plex server, plex is updated to the current Version 1.23.5.4841, remote access is showing green across the board (which is working obviously for offnet/WAN connections) but nothing local is connecting for me. I did try switching it to a public DNS and did not resolve the issue, so reverted it back to the way it was when it was working last. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Same issue on a Mac based server. I see there are a lot of people with this problem… is there a estimated timeframe on when things will be back to normal, or will we all have to fend for ourselves as usual to get it fixed?
I pointed my pi-holes to use Google’s DNS in addition to OpenDNS and this seems to have resolved the issue for me. As of 06:45 July 23. EST
