Good morning everyone!

First of all, thank you for taking the time and providing great feedback posts! I’ll quote & respond to a few below but know that I’ve read every single one of them and, as mentioned earlier, acknoledging they’ve been added for internal tracking.

If I have one ask, as you might see from is that you please collect some logs when reporting issues, as those help immensely!

Also, if you’re having problems with specific types of media, please share a sample file when reporting issues.

However, during my few minutes of testing the 8587 build, I immediately noticed severe stuttering. (1080p SDR video at 23.976 fps.)

I’m on the latest stable tvOS and I also haven’t been able to play a single file be it 4K HDR, DV or 1080p/720p SDR.
I get no message, each file simply tries to load and then takes it to the post play screen as if the item is watched.

@anders_m72, @ckdxxx & @Xhaka can you please share logs?

There are a few signs in the settings, and video behavior that make me conserved this version does not actually run on molten, the menu’s didn’t change like last time, and I don’t see molten references in the logs as before. Logs attached. Can you confirm everything looks as it should?

Well I will say, I installed the 8585 build and set the video to old player and played a 4K HDR 8 gig file perfectly with my paired HomePod Mini’s for sound, not a single issue…

If you set the video to old player you’re not testing any of the new stuff in this build, but using Apple’s native player instead. Also, we’re specifically asking to not provide feedback on build 8585.

I’m not seeing 8.37 in TestFlight, Latest is 8.36 (8457)

Weird. Even after restarting TF and/or tvOS? Can you shoot me your email in a DM so I can verify?
