Apple TV 3 an error occured loading this content

I have been trying for weeks to get this to work, I have recoded files to ensure that mp4 files are being used but its still not working. when plex opens on apple tv the on deck section is just grey squares. and won't play when clicked on.

Config file? Did you actually visit a screen as this shows not much activity? Log level high?
