Apple TV 3 Gen (Not working) wt Drobo 5N...

So I must be missing something as I am unable to get my Apple TV 3rd Gen to go fetch my movies from my Drobo 5N on the same network (connected via ethernet not wifi).

 

Here is what I have done so far:

 

Installed Plex app on Drobo.

 

In apple TV changed my DNS to match the Drobo 5N IP. (which prevented apple TV to pull anything from the Web...)

 

In Drobo Plex Configuration created an account and under the same configuration in My library added 2 series using the name convention stuff.

 

Went back to the apple TV and went into the Trailers tab and all that happens is "Accessing Trailers" with the spinning wheel of death!

 

I tried going into the Settings > General > Send data to Apple and tried adding the custom profile "http://trailers.apple.com/trailers.cer"

 

But apple did not accept that.

 

I am assuming that apple TV should normally be able to stream from the Drobo 5N the properly assigned library's... See attachments, those pulled from connecting via my macbook

 

Any one out there knows what I am missing here?

Where do you have plexconnect installed, it’s separate to plex media server.

On the Drobo. It has the ability to have apps run... in this case Plex!

Anyway there information is really poor on trouble shooting the installation. So thats what I need help with.

That link is to plex media server, plexconnect that is required for ATV is a separate install as per guides here https://github.com/iBaa/PlexConnect/wiki/Install-Guide
