so I finished updating my Plex media server with all of my movie and tv show files in their respective libraries. My problem is that when I go to the apple tv app, or the iOS app on my iPhone. when I initially installed the app it only gave me the choice to add the plex standard items on the sidebar. It didn’t give me the option of adding my respective movie or tv show folders. However when I click on “more” it shows my Mac mini that I am using as a plex server. The only problem with that is that I cannot see the individual folders, I cannot pin those folders to the Home Screen sidebar, and when I click on the Mac mini in the more option it only gives me in the main window, “recently added movies” and “recently added tv”. I cannot find any option that allows me to see my entire movie or tv show library or pin it to the main sidebar. Please help me out with this. I am running the lates versions of the apps and software as retrieved from the App Store and the plex website.
Usually pinning libraries is pretty straight forward… e.g. on the Apple TV:
- Click
More - Open the
Mac Miniserver entry - Navigate to the line that contains the library you want to pin
- Swipe to the left to click the
...left of the library entry - Select
