Plex on Apple TV skipping over libraries

Fresh Plex installation: The server is on a QNAP NAS, players on various devices.

I have four libraries in the left panel:
Library 1
Library 2
Library 3
Library 4

On the Apple TV Plex player, it skips past libraries 2 and 3. When using the Plex player on other devices (e.g. Samsung smart TV), this does not happen.

Is this a bug in the Plex player on Apple TV?

Here are the Apple TV logs.

I have a Plex server installed on a QNAP NAS, and I have no issues using the web player or the Plex app on a Samsung smart TV. But when I use the Plex app in Apple TV, I cannot scroll between my libraries.

For example, in the left panel, I have four libraries:

Indian Movies
TV shows
Family
Western Movies

Settings

When I try to scroll down, the selection jumps directly from Indian Movies to Settings. I cannot navigate to other libraries.

I’ve attached the Plex server and Apple TV logs.

Does this issue persist if you unpin/pin the libraries that are being skipped when navigating the sidebar?
Can you still access those libraries from within the „More“ section?

Hi Tom, I did some testing based on your question.

Since I cannot navigate to the skipped libraries, I cannot pin or unpin them. It is only on the initial setup screen for the Plex Apple TV player that I can choose which libraries to pin. So I signed out and re-did the setup.

When I leave Indian Movies unpinned, I can scroll between the remaining pinned libraries. As soon as I pin Indian Movies, the problem re-occurs.

Thinking that there was something weird with the Indian Movies library, I deleted it and re-created it. The issue persists.

My workaround for now is to leave Indian Movies unpinned, and access it from the More section. Obviously, that is not a great user experience , so I’d love to get to the bottom of this.

Thanks for helping,
Sunil
