I don’t know what happen but my Plex on Apple TV somehow
doesnt read my Plex server on my iMac … before used to work
but now for some reason it stopped …

Is the Plex Media Server on your iMac up, running and signed in with the same Plex account?
Does the issue persist if you restart the app on the Apple TV / your server?
Yes all done … same issue …
the media server does read my media fine … after updating the server
but now the Plex app on Apple TV can’t read the media as pinned on server
I did some workaround ..
there were some IPs in network setting I don’t know how they got there where it says only these IPs are allowed to connect ..
I deleted them all and now
network issue seems to be gone
but now the app doesnt show the pinned media on my server
Did you previously pin those libraries on the Apple TV app? The pinned libraries are configured per app.
I have over 19 Pinned categories
and its showing on Plex Media Server just fine
I deleted the app the installed it again on Apple TV
so it might show me the chosen pins but it didn’t
it showed me only this :
I don’t know I have feeling maybe I have to delete the media server and install it again
which is something I don’t prefer as I worked so hard to make it as is .

The app customizations (e.g. pinning/ordering libraries) is a per-client configuration. Libraries you’ve already pinned in Plex Web won’t automatically appear as pinned libraries on the Apple TV app.
You can however pin your preferred libraries on the Apple TV App.
The reason for this is that you might have different preferences on different devices — e.g. you might not be interested in listening to music on the Apple TV… so there’s no need to pin those libraries there… while you very much might want them pinned on your mobile.
I’m not sure if that got to do from where I’m located
as Plex website is blocked here …
and I use VPN to get access to my login and everything …
even on iOS the app doesnt read or show the pin categories
what you think the reason ?
I loged on the app using my friend ID and it did show alll his pins media
it turned out not working on my old Apple TV OS 14.7
I just installed my new Apple TV HD with OS 15 and worked just fine

Here is how I fixed it.!
At the beginning I was using old Version of Apple TV OS which is 14.7
I faced the issue then I updated the system to 15.5.1
still didn’t work .
as you can see the pinned list didn’t show
so what I did is decide to restore the whole Apple TV by choosing ( Restore and Update )
and install the Plex
and guess what .. it worked like magic
