Apple TV and iOS cannot skip intros and credits anymore

I cannot skip intros and credits anymore. Apple TV and iOS apps the same. Don’t know if it’s an app problem or a server problem.
I don’t even know if the server is scanning for it if I add new stuff.
Any suggestions?

Best way to test:

  1. Open an episode in Plex Web
  2. Click Get Info from the video‘s context menu
  3. Click the View XML button on the popup
  4. Check for marker tags

I didn’t say anything.
I looked in the xml and no intro but credits. Next series the same. Both I tried yesterday.
Then I searched very old ones where I definitely know it has both. I looked the xml and there is both. So I clicked play and voila intro skip button.
Hmm, now I’m wondering, why the intros are not recognized on the two series. The intros are very obvious, but OK. Buttons are still working. Sorry.

For intro detection to work, the intros must be at least 20 seconds long and be in the 1st half of the episode. Keep in mind intro detection is managed using the audio track of the files. So, even visually obvious title cards will not be recognized if the underlying audio is different.
