Hi, I have plex on my Mycloud NAS and playing a video on my samsung tv plex app it uses the bandwidth that the video file states…example 6Mbps, it will play / use close to that amount in variation maybe as high as 9mbps but not much more however on my daughters apple tv (she streams remotely from her home) the same file will use crazy amounts no matter what the settings are on the plex app ranging from 12mbps to 35mbps is there anything I can do to fix that? My upload bandwidth is 20mbps so at times she says it buffers for her.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
For anyone else who may have had the same issue, we uninstalled the plex app and reinstalled it on her apple tv and now uses the normal bandwidth rate.
