Apple TV does not play 4K movies after preroll

My Apple TV 4K no longer plays 4K movies after the update to tvOS 18 and Plex 8.39 when a preroll is running beforehand. (Prerolls are 1080p mp4) I always get the error message that no playback session could be created. Movies without 4K play perfectly with prerolls.
Is anyone else experiencing this error, or where should I look if the error is on my side?
