Ive noticed a bug on the apple tv, (Plex Server Version 1.9.3.4290) (Apple tv Version tvOS 11.0)
On the server for Movies I have it automatically downloading subtitles from OpenSubtitles.
What I am seeing is it doesnt matter if the subtitles are turned off it always shows a subtitle until I swipe down during the movie and turn them off, even if it already shows off I still have to hit “Off”
Has anyone else seen this issue?
I have noticed that with certain files (blu ray mkv full bitrate makemkv files) that either or both places in tvos plex client were ignored (were off) but subtitles and other handycap audio features played… no way to turn them off while the file played fine on ios and other clients… it was strange

Maube you getting a forced subs?
In the server settings there is an option to unable/disable this…so app will obey yor setting
