Using Apple TV app. When I choose subtitles in Playback Settings, the only option I see is “Off”. To fix it I go into Plex Server - Settings - Languages and untick “Automatically select audio and subtitle tracks” click Save; then if I tick it again and save, I will see “Off” and “More” in the Subtitles section on the Apple TV. This will fix it for a couple of days and then I have to repeat the process. I recently completely uninstalled Plex Server from my Mac and reinstalled using the guide at https://support.plex.tv/articles/201941078-uninstall-plex-media-server/ . The problem keeps coming back. Have I missed a cache or config file that I need to delete? Thank you.
