When one episode of a show is finished, the next played episode has no sound. Occurs with auto play as well as manually advancing the episode after one is finished.
To remedy you must back out to the show menu and then click the next episode you wish to watch manually for it to have sound.

That OP appears to be running beta versions of the player
I have been posting in that linked thread; however I’m not using the beta version of the player (just FYI).
I can confirm that the new Apple TV 4K which was released in November 2022 experiences the same behavior.
I went into Plex settings on the Plex home screen and turned the old player on which eliminates the sound on auto play next episode issue. Not sure what features I am missing by using the old player but it works better than the default one so I guess I’ll stick with it for a while.
