Watching TV shows - audio stops working each new episode

My audio works perfectly fine on the episodes. It works perfect on PC, on my laptop, on my phone, but on my Apple TV, every time an episode finishes and moves to the next, the audio cuts out. I have to either stop the episode and start it again, or open up the playback settings and tap on “play original quality” again to trigger the episode to properly play the audio.

Is there a fix for this…? When searching around, I came across people on Reddit mentioning that this is a bug that’s been happening for a long time now and isn’t being fixed… Thought I’d ask the question here instead.

I see the same problem on my Apple TV & I’m hopeful that the issue can be resolved. :thanks:

Yep can confirm - this issue has been happening since October 2022! Only seems to happen if autoplay next episode takes effect.

This issue occurs if I am using the New player. It does not occur if I have it set to use the Old player.

I can confirm this is happening on the Apple TV - Updated to the most recent Version.
