Apple TV log-logs out, no way to continue what is watching

I’ve been having issues with a client on an Apple TV. They log into Plex with their email watch a few shows then they go about their day. Upon returning they are usually logged out and when they log back in, they cannot continue playing anything where they left off - they have to manually find where they were.

Is this a known issue? Any ideas?
