Plex on apple tv os14.3
Sometimes i get an message that the video cannot be played when its half way through playing the movie then. I have to either close plex and re open it and other times i have to reboot the apple tv.
And other times, when i go to resume a movie, i click on resume, then it does nothing.
With which Apple TV model and version of Plex for tvOS are you experiencing this?
4th gen Apple TV, with tvOS 14.3
and plex version 7.11 (22422)
Tom, is there a log file Patrick should look at? If not should/can Plex add that?
Typically network stuff by definition can be flaky. I have seen Apple, Windows and Linux clients just hang, or mis-behave, when a network socket errors out. If retry logic doesn’t have an exponential back off sleep during retry all can crash. With exponential back off decay there won’t be too many log entries to help Plex determine where the code is looping and have some indication as why. Just an idea.
Correct, @AllenSR… logs are the next step in troubleshooting 
@patrickwhalen… I cannot reproduce any of the described issues on my Apple TV 4K. Could you take a look at those logs / share them here?
