Hi all
Been a Plex user for ages and i have now got the opportunity to get a decent sound system and with my 4k TV i can have the true media experience.
Problem i have is that i can’t play anything on my Apple TV at 4K Atmos sound our even 1080p with surround sound!!
Apple TV i have is 3rd Gen so not old and the wifi speed i am getting from my router (which is in the same room) is 300mbps+.
My plex server is upstairs and is wired connected and has 150mbps speeds which should be plenty.
My question is could it be my wifi that is the problem streaming or could it be that my 4K content is on a external USB hard drive and that could be the bottle neck?
Any advice on how to run it?
