Since the lastest plex server update last week, i notice I am having a major issues trying to play anything on Apple TV version of plex,other than music.
It takes ages, if ever to start a movie. Most times i have to start movie on another device (iPhone or on the sever). Stop it, then start it on apple TV in order to watch it
Anyone else having this issue/

Yes, I had similar issues. May be related to the transcoding issue.
Guess only me and tthorn125 having this issue lol
On a side note, since the new build that came out last week, i do not seem to have this issue thus far

Would be good if we can have some logs for the problem on Plex Media Server 1.5.5 and media info : audio, video and if subtitles involved

So is it the 21:21:14 streaming that you are referring to as the failure to start?
The issue was a subtitle file, i removed it and it started working again

Thanks for the confirmation. An issue is already under investigation relating to multi-channel audio and subtitles on Apple TV
